    Requirements
    Degree in biological sciences or an equivalent combination of education, experience and training may be considered

    Candidates must be registered as Professional Biologist (RPBio) with the BC College of
    Applied Biology or, eligible to become a Professional Biologist within 6 months of appointment

    Experience in conducting environmental monitoring and assessments

  • Full-time GIS/ Environmental Technician

    Requirements
    College technical diploma or degree in GIS or mapping, with a minimum of 3 years relevant experience

    Knowledge of computer operating systems and equipment such as ArcInfo, ArcGIS, Microstation, AutoCAD, Global Mapper, FME, and high-speed printers and plotters

  • Full-time Environmental Technician

    The Environmental Technician will perform drilling waste management, reclamation, and spill response services in Fort St John.

    Requirement
    A degree in environmental science or diploma equivalent, with 3 years relevant experience
    All candidates seeking employment with Highmark Environmental Services Ltd. must have the following:

    • All applicable safety tickets and drivers abstract
    • Safety tickets required for all employment with HESL, such as:
      • PST
      • WHMIS
      • Ground Disturbance Level 2
      • H2S Alive
      • Level One First Aid with Transportation Endorsement

    Assets:
    • Newer 4x4 vehicle
